thermal imaging

just a random thought that came to my mind when i read bout BMW's new thermal imaging that allows drivers to see further in the dark.

what if the thermal imaging allows drivers to see thru people's clothing!!! i remember that a few years back, Sony invented a infra-red video camera but it was taken off the shelves shortly after it went on sales because it was apparently able to see thru thin clothings.

hmmm... so if the technology saves lives but could possibly invade your privacy... what would you do?! what would you do?!
