friday night

let talk bout friday night.
i was at winebar with bernard and his friend derrick and i started with a bottle of stella while waiting for the rest of the guys to come. when stella was gone, i moved unto heineken.
then just as i finished my heineken, ben, shawn and ross came and we started ordering housepour. whisky cola first and then unto vodka orange... i had lots of vodka orange. love it!
after all these, i didn't feel high or tipsy at all.
BUT! at members' bar, shawn ordered a drink and passed it to me. i didn't know wat the drink was, but it looked pretty harmless coz it was clear coloured so i drank half the glass at one go. DAMN! i'm so wrong bout the drink! after that sip, i was wasted! i will not go into the details, but i will always remember this drink call STICKYHOT!

if information is inefficient, the we should short sell the pounds now and buy it in one month's time. too bad i don't have $100,000. but i am pretty sure pound will be weaker in august. so i'm only going to change my money in august. i'm expecting S$2.99-3.01 per pound. so let's wait and see...

it has been 5 years already?

my left eye brow's still twitching!!! wierd!!! can anybody tell me what's the sign? 
is it a sign that i will get a great job in london? or will i meet my love one soon? blar blar blar... obviously, those are the things on my mind now =)
and 5 years ago, i was enlisted. time really flies. it has been 5 years! can u believe it! that means that i have completed my 2 and a half year of national service, my 2 years of undergruate life. which also includes 5 years of insurance payment, a year of reservist...
but, i am only 25 today. and hopefully, 5 years down the road, i'll have my first kid. which means i must get married within the next 4 years! haha.
and i am not even attached nor have any targets.. ok, targets make it sound very bad, how bout the word, candidates? better?! actually, i am not asking for the sky lar. just someone that i like, i can live with, give me support... i don't know liao. don't know wat else do i want =)
oh well, enough of talk... i wanna sleep liao.

for the past week..

half an hour ago, i left my house and went for a jog. 11min and 20sec later, i'm home, panting, my legs are aching but hardly broke a sweat. i better build up my stamina before i go diving and london... to look fitter and feel better =>
and i've finally spent the Isetan voucher and bought my jeans yesterday. it's a pair of Levis! for the past week i was deciding whether to buy a pair of Levis or Giordano, but now my wallet has spoken. but it has been awhile since i last spent more than $100 on a single item. (ok, the Levis 512 cost $99.50 but it can be considered as $100 right?) the last time i did that was when i came back from Brunei after my jungle survive training somewhere ard chinese new year in 2000. that time, i bought a pair of renoma shoes, Iceberg jeans, A|X shirt and Burberrys shirt.
and i played majhong last night. though i lost money, but i considered it a form of entertainment. and the 6 hours of majhong is cheaper than watch 3x 2hours show for $6.50 =>
that's all i wanna write for now, my thighs are aching... and only my thighs. MEDIC!!!

to eat or to sleep?!

i'm hungry and bored right now... and i don't know if i should go hit the bed and sleep or should i go to the kitchen and grab some pineapple tarts!!! =) *tsk tsk* when someone is as bored as i am now, every simple little decision seems so big and important!!!

and i really got to say this, if i weren't going to london, i believe i will be working right now. having an 8-6 job and hopefully, no need to work on the weekends. getting paid ard $2,200 as a financial analyst or researcher. basically, i got nothing nice to say bout having to work. we toil so hard just to make ends meet, and hopefully to live a 'better' life, and a 'better' life usually means having more ends to meet! it's dumb to go thru life like this. and i don't intend to go thru life this way but neither do i intend to bum thru my life. i want my life to be simple, loving, relaxing and care-free. i'll work hard, live within my means, provide for and love my wife & children and have a bunch of great friends in life!

and talking bout wife and children, my mum recently asked me why i don't have a gf. hmmm, i really don't know how to answer her =) i guess it's time to bring someone home soon... haha. it has been 5-6 years since i last got attached and i guess it's bout time to find someone to love, show my parents, give a diamond ring, get married, get a house and have kids... blar blar blar. but then again, i am such a bum =) i am contented going around making new friends. and like i always say, 'i'll just wait for the girl to fall unto my arms.' =) if only... i guess it's time to pray for my eyes to be open to choose THE ONE, for courage to ask THE ONE out for a date and pray for whatever that has to be prayed for lar coz i also don't know wat else to pray for liao =)
