nothing to do, so i blog lor

here's wat happened since the previous post:

1. i've ordered the pair of Gola shoes from Schuh.

2. i've managed to read a chapter of a book... one of the 3-4 books which i am currently reading. and i dont think i mention that i've already ordered another 4 books from Amazon. damns, i still need to order the DVDs... i really need help freighting or carrying my stuff home this time.

3. i figure out how to get my visa for russia and my friend has already booked the flight. but before i even step foot into Mother Russia, i'm bout to be 300 pounds poorer. who says that Russia is cheap!!! it's probably going to cost me bout 1000 pounds for the entire trip!

other useless info:
- i've packed my bag for tomorrow's soccer. my kids' size Nike top, my white shorts, my red Adidas footie boots (birthday present), my blue Adidas street soccer shoes and of course deodorant.

- i was watching France vs China just now and i was supporting France because i placed a bet this afternoon. France won and i thought i won some money. but it happened that my bet was on Holland for another game... supported the wrong team for the wrong game lar! but luckily, i still won. keke. (my sister has her shopping credit upgraded to 5 pounds liao)

- more but it's useless anyway. time to sleep and dream dreams.

it's going to fly!

this weekend, i've got a friend arriving from Singapore and i'll probably show him ard and do stuff.

June, is my birthday, Silverstone, company soccer tournament and World Cup.

July is going to be quiet till my good friend's exams' over and we intend to go some where!

mid-August is when i fly to Russia the day after i quit my job and when i return, i am going to pack and freight my stuff and move out of flat 16.

one week of unknown then i am due in Istanbul on the 9th of Sep before catching a flight on the 12th back to Singapore.

in between, i need to settle my freight, bank account, shopping and other stuff...

right now, i'm considering if i should buy this pair of shoes... coz i still need a pair of loafers and street soccer shoes before i return to Singapore. should i???

I AM NOT A TRAITOR

It's interesting to follow Arsenal on and off the pitch for the past 3 days. it's almost like being a paparazzi following a celebrity wherever she goes and hope to land a juicy story.

in the case of Arsenal, there were 2 juicy stories.

we all knew bout what happened in Paris.
and no, Arsenal didnt have a happy ending in Paris which most of us would expect in supposingly the most romantic city in the world.

the other tabloid story was Henry's commitment to Arsenal. After the final whistle in Paris, all us switched our attention to Henry's next move as he has to sign a contract this year or else, he'll be a free agent next year. we were eagerly anticipating the announcement of Henry's commitment to the next club. some say he was going to Barcelona, some say that he was going to stay and as the speculation grew, so did our impatience for the announcement.

finally, at 2pm today, Arsenal held a press conference to announce that Henry has signed a new contract with Arsenal.

drama drama drama. from Paris all the way back to London. if i were a Londoner and supporting a London club, it would definately be Arsenal... but i am not. therefore, i am not a traitor =)

Champions League Final 2005/2006

The final result is 2-1 to Barcelona.
like all other competitions, it's the result in the end which will differentiate the winner from the loser. FACT!
right now, i'm not interested in your views and analysis on the sent off, referee's decisions and unpunished fouls. i've had enough of it for today. just accept it and enjoy the pictures.

Champions League - betting

Barcelona vs Arsenal

here's what i placed my bets on:
1. barcelona to win 3-1, 3-2, 4-2, 4-3, 5-2, 5-3 & 5-4
2. Arsenal to win 2-0, 3-1, 3-2, 4-2, 4-3
3. draw result of 2-2, 3-3 and 4-4
4. Barcelona to lead at the end of first half and draw at full time.
5. Barcelona to lead at the end of first half and Arsenal to win at full time.
6. Arsenal to lead at the end of the first half and Barcelona to win at full time.
7. Arsenal to lead at the end of the first half and draw at full time.

placed a pound or two bet on each prediction and i only had one right - Arsenal to lead at the end of the first half and Barcelona to win at full time.
the odds were 20-1 and because i placed 2 pounds, i won 40 pounds and less the 25 pounds investment, i made 15 pounds.
too bad Barcelona didnt win 3-1, otherwise, i could have won 51 pounds instead. oh well, better to have won something than to lose my investment.
15 pounds, can buy me bout 4 bottles of Magners this friday =)

i can't wait for the World Cup to start! keke

btw, i dont blindly bet on games. i do my research and calculations to minimise loss and maximise potential returns. but this is betting, nothing is certain, so be prepared to lose. i was prepared to lose 25 pounds, and i spread my bets with the 25 pounds just like what i did for the Grand National. i was prepared to loss 10 pounds. for now, it's 2 for 2...

if you have nothing better to do

use the photos which i had taken in the Albraham and set them as your desktop picture.
they are quite pretty and besides, there are lots of pictures with greenery which is soothing to the eyes.
=)

I WANT

a pair of white football shorts, a pair of football socks, Holland football jersey, another pair of jeans, a pair of loafers, a pair of soft ground football boots, more bright colour t-shirts & polo tee (red, orange, green & blue), Zara/Topman shirts and trousers for work, a blazer, a belt, a watch or two, sunglasses, a new mobile, PS3, 21 inch tv, a new computer, a sound system, more dvd, more books, a new camera... the list is endless.

how much do you think i need for this shopping spree?
5000 pounds? can i? should i?
i can walk back to Singapore right?
=)

dilemma

should i get a 1GB Compactflash memory card or should i get a Canon powershot A540?
Hmmm...

temptation

stepped into Lillywhites just to get a jersey but i was tempted to buy:

a pair of Adidas F10 football boots for bout 20 quid
a Holland National Jersey for bout 30 quid
a pair of white football shorts for 10 quid
a Nike white sleeveless quick-drying top for 15 quid

temptation temptation temptation

but the truth is that the boots and jersey here are cheaper than in Singapore...
is that an excuse =)

the evil side

have you ever wonder what sort of person you'll be like if one day, you reach your breaking point and you just let hell loose?

i have. i wonder bout this almost every day!

the person you hate, the twat/asshole/knob on the other side of the phone who doesnt get it, the person who verbally abuse you for no reason, the person who knocked into you without saying sorry, the person who walked too slowly and is blocking the path... etc etc etc.

the thought of holding someone by the neck, squeezing the throat and life out of him/her. or drowning someone and see him/her struggle. or tying up someone you really hate, burn him or her alive, hear them scream and smell the scent of burnt human flesh. or pick a fight with someone and give it everything you got.

... God, please keep me sane in this mad world...
