of cricket and football...

it's not my day today.

firstly, 3 of the 4 cups of starbucks coffee which i bought for my sister, stella, colin and myself spilled onto the streets when they fell of the tray which i was carrying. 7 pounds down the drain... literally.

this morning, i took my sunglass out from the drawer but left it on the sofa when we left for church -and i forgot to keep it when i returned from church- then murphy's law decide to reign in my life today and after watching the football match between newcastle vs man u at the pub with colin, i return home and found out that it has broken into half -sad- i really like that pair of sunglasses. it took me 2 years to find a pair that i like -sigh-

i'm rarely so careless. esp when i usually run through such scenarios in my head and i remind myself that i should be careful and not let it happen. i'm getting careless... and this is no good.

these asshole incidents aside... everythings' good so far since i returned.
my new address from next week onwards is flat 16, 3 Cups Yard. with 1mb brandband and skysports! whaha.

returned to a shitload of work too, but it wasn't as messy as i expected it to be... but i might be speaking too soon, as i still have a week to clear it up.

thursday and friday at work were mostly bout emailing Aaon, Joey, Joanne and Zaneta... 200 emails were sent and received over the 2 days... and it's not as if there was anything serious to talk bout...

dim sum yesterday at the Royal China along baker street was good! if anyone's going again, please invite me! =)

my frisbee throws are not as good as it used to be either... not that it's very good in the first place. and i also need to exercise. that said, my sats will soon be like this: exercise in the morning, might include frisbee too and watch as much soccer as possible on my sky sports. =) everyone is welcome to my place... cover-charge is only a bottle of coke.

bank holiday tomorrow... i shall enjoy the next 24 hours before all hell breaks loose on tuesday for me.

back in london and back at work!!!

i almost forgotten how much i LOVE and HATE my job both at the same time. but everything came back into my mind after an hour at work.

it's time for me to go! in 7 hours' time, i'll be boarding SA-WA-DE-CUP airline for a 2 hour flight to Bangkok, a 3 hour waiting-for-God-knows-what-to-do transit and a double digit hour flight on a no personal entertainment flight to London. Aren't things great! -GRIN-

of course i could get lucky with a flight stewardess or some nice girl sitting beside or girls sitting ard me on the flight. Hmmm... dream on, dream away...

talking bout girls, i was at Zouk yesterday and i saw Cynthia Koh in her black Lancer. she looks old... time has and still is taking it's toil...
and i probably saw only a handful of really nice girls at Zouk. the rest should really be home studying for PSLE, O Level or A level, wait till they mature and grow some hair-if you know what i mean, return to their ah-beng ah-seng KTV room, go home to their kids and grandchildren...
and if u think that the crowd is bad, wait till u try the alcohol. freaking cheats! we had 6 jugs of vodka orange among the 3 of us and i can barely taste the vodka. and it's freaking $43 for 2 jugs. well, it's $43 for a jug but it's one-for-one for vodka yesterday. mate, the double shot of vodka orange or redbull in london probably has more vodka in the glass than all of the 6 jugs combined!

ah, gotta pack my stuff... i shall not talk too much bout unhappy/irritating stuff coz it affects my mood. i need to put on my best smile for my flight later... if u get what i mean... =)

computer problems

i've spent more time fixing the damn computer than on anything else. first, it crashed and i had to reinstall the O/S. then the system had tons of pop-ups and i had to install spybot and adware. and now, windows update installed XP service pack 2 and i can't used any program when i logged unto the internet and i had to un-install it. twice for F*** sake. F***ing fustrating and waste of time. and the driver or hardware for the sound is not working as well. I GIVE UP!

thank you Mr Aaron Lim for all the hard work in getting a place for us to stay.

the past 2 weeks has been eventful. meeting and catching up with friends from way way back and newly made ones as well. it's good to be back and be with friends and i wish that i'm not leaving again and be around with all of them. but that's not the way it is for another year.

i don't feel like saying more...

a very busy week

tired is how i'm feeling every day since i got back.

it has been 48 hours since i've re-installed the computer and the system still sucks. there are tons of pop-ups just 3 mins after i logged unto the internet, msn shuts down for no reason, more pop-ups and other irritating stuff. i hate computers when they are giving problems! it's so time consuming that it's actually worse than listening to a girl's complain and whining.

i had my chicken rice, duck rice, sushi, hokkien mee, ban mian and that's bout it so far but there's more to come. and the ONE-TON mee at raffles city food court sucks to the max!

i've been meeting people every day that i have actually double-booked thursday evening. and i feel quite bad bout it. Oops! and there's alot more people that i want to meet but i really don't have the time. i hope that they either don't know that i'm back or they won't mind that i didn't call them. =)

so far, i've learnt that a few of my church friends are getting married, furthering their studies in NUS/US and diploma, my female SIM friends are doing better than the guys, my close friends are all doing well in their respective careers and all's good. good for them and i'm happy for them.

and i've still got my cellgroup members and a few other girls to meet... (i actually typed out the names of the people that i am suppose to meet, but i notice that they are all girls... Oops) i better start looking for 1-2 guys' number on my phone to call to 'balance' things out. =)

the nutshell so far

right now, i'm waiting to use the car and drive to Siglap to attend my friend's birthday. since i can't tell the future, let's rewind and see what has happened so far since i'm back...

20mins ago i almost got a heat stroke because i took a bus that didn't bring me to the bus-stop which i thought it would go and i had to walk all the way to my grandma's place. damn it!

2 hours ago, i meet up with cherry, my xiao mei (little sister) and her husband to be in a year's time at Mirama Hotel for japanese food! yummy. $30 for japanese buffet... not bad if you ask me. i had the usual stuff and 3 plates of salmon sashimi! =) cherry and i always go for sushi. we had sushi buffet the week before i left for london last year. and everything i meet her, it's always sushi. hehe.

5 hours ago, i saw a girl with hot legs and body at Bishan MRT. you don't see that often in Singapore. saw the same thing at City Hall yesterday. but this one had a hot butt as well!

i can't remember much bout the previous days. but this trip home is quite tiring. the first day when i was back and finn texted and asked if i was jet-lagged, i said no. but since that day, i am actually feeling damn tired. this is not the way a holiday should be! but then again, i'm only back for 2 weeks, and i suppose that's the way it is...

recent events

some quick points before i forget what had happened:

1. spent the weekend in normandy with Aaron, Joey and Stella. We visited the D-Day beaches, drove on the wrong side of the road, saw jaws-dropping cliffs and beautiful fairy-tale houses, had good food and each other's company.

2. i found a Canon Ixus 500 on the street. and i believe that it's God blessings. i talked alot bout getting a camera and now, i've got one. but if you are wondering bout the feelings of the person who lost the camera, i don't think there's much to worry bout. i've looked thru the pics and the conclusion is that they are VERY pich people. becoz i saw pics of the owner and friends/family have meals at selfridges, taking a pic beside a lamborgini which i believed they owned, a big apartment in london. and the time on the camera is 4 hours ahead of london, which i assume that they are middle eastern people. definately rich!

3. Can't wait to leave london on Wed and go back to see my family and friends. but i really really dread returning to work after the 2 weeks holiday coz i got a bad feeling that my payroll is going to be in a mess and it will be hell sorting it back. oh, and the piccadilly is suppose to be up and running the day after i leave.

4. going to egypt in november with Aaron and Zaz. hmmm... A - Z, i wonder if M is right smack in the middle between A to Z. anyway, we are still ironing out the arrival and departure airports and dates but those are minor details. i just wanna see the pyramids.
