my trip to Seville and Granada
i spent the weekend in Seville and Granada and it was lovely!
i visited the cathedral and Alcazar in Seville and the Alhambra in Granada.
i think the cathedral is the nicest i've seen in Europe so far. better than St Peter's Basilica in Rome but i'm not sure bout St Paul's cathedral in London coz i havent been there! haha. And the Alhambra is the nicest thing i've seen in Europe so far! it's a must go if you ask me! it's a fortress, palace and garden! The Nasrid Palace is the hightlight of Alhambra itself! i dont know how to describe it to you but it's a really beautiful place. and the photos which i've taken doesnt do justice to the place, but if you could, please please visit it, esp in summer!
another reason why i enjoy this trip was because i took it really easy. i spent the evening in Seville on the roof top of my hostel, lying on the hammock and reading my book and in Granada, i finished my book and had an early night. it's great! chill and relax!
and i had a 7-course dinner in one of Seville's top restaurant. The setting and service is excellent!!! the food is great too. starters aside, there were creamy rice with ham, seared tuna, duck with raw bean sprout and coconut puree, jelly in a martini glass with crashed frozen 7-up and dessert! pictures to follow later once internet is fixed.
my top 10 places in Europe so far (no ranking):
Stockholm (scenery + do nothing)
Granada (The Alhambra)
Barcelona (Park Guell + shopping + food)
Venice (walk ard and get lost + watch sun set)
Rome (history)
Interlaken (scenery + hiking)
Normandy (food + road trip)
Paris (cabaret + Eiffel tower + Mona Lisa so that you can say that you've seen it)
hopefully, Istanbul, St Petersburg and Moscow will make up the numbers.
