updates... which isn't much...
i've been thinking alot bout home lately. actually, it's more bout looking for a job and getting a job. in fact, i was prepared to fly home on a short notice to go for an interview that a friend could got for me, but it didn't materialise coz my friend told me that it wasn't worth it. but she will continue to look out for any openings for me! thanks Valerie.
work is going to get really busy from tomorrow onwards. the billing department has been dissolved and contract payroll department has the dubious honour of taking over their job. which means on top of the bi-weekly matching of timesheet and invoices to pay the contractors, we'll have to invoice the clients for the contractors' work. i bet u have no idea what i'm talking bout. but you gotta agree that there's more work to do and it sounds crappy?!
another time people... have a good week everyone. otherwise, slap the next person u see and see what happens!!!

it's none of my business but i still wanna say it
"Bush has requested 120 billion dollars more for war funding..."
half a trillion dollar spent for a f***ing war that's going no where!
this is not right.
i know that freedom is priceless but at what cost?
if half a trillion dollar of tax-payers' money is going to be spent, i'm sure the taxpayers want it to be use for something that contributes back to the society.
honestly, it doesn't feel any safer since 9-11. it fact, it feels worse.
half a trillion dollar could be wisely used to boost the economy, military, society, defense against terrorism... definately not to fight a war like this.
